Since the production and application of Engineered NanoMaterials (ENMs) to daily life´s fields within the EU are known to increase, the release of ENMs into the aquatic envrionemtn is expected. Hence, it is crucial to understand the processes determining the behavior of ENMs and to develop viable regulations. As a basis, validated and easily implementable methods are required. Cloud Point Extraction (CPE) is one promising tool for separation and concetration in ENM analyses in complex environmental matrices.
The upcoming workshop is hosted by the Working Group 1 by the COST Action ES1205. The scope of the workshop is to bring together scientists from different disciplines and to address benefits and challenges of the method in a comprehensive manner.
